Banquitas Historical Exhibition

The newly constructed Banquitas House of Culture in Orange Walk Town is a must see for visitors interested in the town's history and culture. Being one of only three Houses of Culture in the entire country, the people of Orange Walk are proud to exhibit the talented artists of their town.

The exhibitons  are designed to give the visitor a glimpse into the history of the district, with an emphasis on Orange Walk Town.  Strategically located near the scenic New River, Las Banquitas is an ideal recreational spot. In addition to the House of Culture, the property includes a small restaurant, with plans for an amphitheater.  With exhibits changing regularly, a visit to Banquitas Museum is sure to be an interesting experience.
